This week we have had some interesting news, Digg founder and widely read tech guru/blogger Kevin Rose has said that from a reliable source he has been given information on the upcoming iPad 2.

I have it on good authority that Apple will be announcing the iPad 2 in the next “3-4 weeks”, possibly Tuesday February 1st. The iPad 2 will feature a retina display and front/back cameras.

So it could be alot sooner that what we think? Kevin Rose has already gone back and edited this statement saying it will not feature a Retina Display but just a higher resolution screen as it would not be cost effective.

So with all the recent case leaks and video leaks could we really be seeing the new iPad sooner than we think?
