How To Insert A Sim Card In The iPhone inc iPhone 4

I have had alot of questions about how to insert a sim card or even where do I insert a sim card so I thought I would write a brief guide

In your iPhone box there should be something looking like this

This is Apple’s tool to remove the sim card tray, if you dont have this dont worry to much get something small like a paper clip but be careful not to damage the tray or surroundings

Look at the top of the iPhone, next to the headphone jack there will be a tiny circle. This is where you need to insert the tool

Push the tool straight down and the tray should pop out, if it doesnt you may have to try and pull it up yourself. Be very careful, these sim card trays are very delicate

Now with the tray out place your sim card onto the tray (it only goes on one way) and push the tray in the same way it came out (tiny hole closest to the headphone jack)

**Update iPhone 4**

The iPhone 4 is slightly different to the originals with the sim tray being on the side instead of at the top. It still works in the same way though by inserting the correct tool or a small pin in the little hole lightly pushing and making the tray pop up. See pictures below

When the tray is out you will only be able to put the micro sim in one way, one its on the tray then lightly push it back in and your all done!
