Today I rang O2 customer services inquiring about there early upgrade scheme and only available in store and it seems they are telling a few white lies. The customer services advisor said I could order the iPhone tomorrow over the phone and have it delivered when the website clearly states its only available in stores….. Naughty naughty
Only one downside to this though, they said I would have to pay £390!! Thats £300 to pay off the rest of my contract and £90 for the new phone, the contract remainder is set at a basic flat fee of £20 a month. So I have a fair few months left!
Current predictions looks as if Apple have had hundreds of thousands of pre-orders for the iPad, far exceeding expectation and they are struggling to keep up with the demand. This comes as quite a shock as even Apple themselves did not expect to receive this many pre-orders for the device. Newsolio have said Apple managed to sell 1.2 million smartphone handsets, and some analysts are expected the iPad tablet device to smash this first quarter figure.
Apple have also announced that they are urging developers for the iPad to get creative with apps so there is a good selection on release. All in all this is very good news for Apple and now with the iPad nearly out the way they can concentrate on the new iPhone smashing all records
