Thanks to Gizmodo here it finally is in all its glory, the apple iPad as it looks like its going to be known

The operating system is taken from iPhone OS 3.0 with a few modifications which i dont think any of us was expecting, it has alot in common with the iphone with the way you unlock by sliding the bar, down to having an accelerometer. You also still have a home button at one end, and i would say it looks just like a bigger iPhone! It weighs in at just 1.5 pounds and they are claiming it has an incredible 10 hours of battery life, now if my macbook is anything to go by it will be able to do that for about a week and then it will need a new battery

The iPad will also allow you to use iPhone apps and games, it will shrink them down into a smaller screen so it views in the same resolution

The keyboard layout is also the same

Stats for the processor which is pretty good considering its 0.5 of an inch thick

Need for speed being played on it, the reports say that the graphics are better than the iphone but not as great as a pc, which is expected as thats the point of the device. Frame rates are nice and smooth

A new app called iBooks shows the ability to buy and read books as like an e-book reader although alot sexier

Prices! They have announced that some will have 3g and will used micro-sims provided by your provider, all will be unlocked!
